How Keratin Works

Think of Keratin as a "top coat" for your hair. It fills in the porous gaps in your hair cuticle that cause frizz. This process is heat-activated, sealing the protein into the hair shaft for a finish that is incredibly shiny and soft.

Is It Right For You?

The 72-Hour Rule

The post-treatment period is critical. For the first three days, you must avoid washing your hair or even putting it behind your ears. This allows the Keratin to fully set.

Long-Term Aftercare

To get the most out of your investment (which can last up to 4-5 months in Mission), you must use sulfate-free shampoos. Sulfates are "strippers" that will wash your treatment right down the drain. We carry specialized Keratin-safe products in-salon to help you maintain that silkiness.
